KWAL Factory, Tatu City

The KWAL Factory in Tatu City is part of a phased expansion of Kenya Wine Agencies Limited’s (KWAL) manufacturing operations. Phase 1 includes the construction of a new production warehouse alongside an administrative office building, designed to support the company’s growing operations.

UGC was engaged to lead the EDGE certification audit, working under the stringent technical review process of GBCI (Green Business Certification Inc.). Through performance modelling and targeted advisory, the project successfully achieved EDGE Preliminary Certification, demonstrating measurable savings in energy, water, and embodied carbon.
