Pullman Hotel, Addis Ababa
The Pullman Hotel in Addis Ababa is a high-end hospitality development located in the Kazanchis district of Ethiopia’s capital. Developed by Enyi Hotel plc, the property represents one of the first major international hotel brands in the city to pursue formal sustainability certification. UGC was engaged to guide the project team in aligning the hotel with EDGE certification standards. Through early performance modelling and targeted sustainability advisory, UGC supported the optimisation of energy systems, water fixtures, and material selection. In 2021, the project successfully achieved EDGE Preliminary Certification, making it one of the first hospitality projects in Ethiopia to reach this milestone.
