ICEA Lion Place, Nairobi
ICEA Lion Place is a Grade A commercial office complex located in Westlands, Nairobi. As part of a broader effort to modernise and improve the performance of its portfolio, ICEA is undertaking major renovations to two floors of the building. The upgrades include retrofitting of HVAC, lighting systems, and water fixtures, alongside the installation of rooftop solar PV to reduce reliance on grid electricity. UGC has been engaged to lead the EDGE certification process, working closely with the design and facilities team to identify and implement performance improvements. The project aims to demonstrate how targeted retrofits can significantly improve sustainability outcomes in existing office buildings.
