Following the successful EDGE certification of its Nairobi headquarters, Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) engaged UGC once again to assess and certify its regional head office located in Kisumu. Situated along Oginga Odinga Road in the city centre, the DTB Kisumu building underwent a comprehensive sustainability audit and retrofit strategy to align with EDGE Advanced standards. UGC worked closely with the client team to identify cost-effective measures to enhance energy and water efficiency, optimise envelope performance, and reuse existing architectural elements. The project is now recognised as one of the highest-performing commercial retrofits in Kenya’s financial sector.
