Belgo Holdings Masterplan, Nairobi
The Belgo Holdings Masterplan is an ambitious 88-acre mixed-use development located in Nairobi. UGC was engaged during the concept design stage to provide full sustainability advisory services for the master planning process. Drawing on principles from LEED for Neighbourhood Development, Green Star Communities, and global best practices for low-impact precinct design, UGC worked closely with the master planning architects and engineers to develop a framework that integrates climate resilience, resource efficiency, and future-ready infrastructure. The team also engaged with potential anchor tenants during the planning process to align long-term operational and sustainability objectives across the site. The development is planned to be phased over 15 years.
