old Storage Solutions– Kigali, Kampala, Dar es Salaam, and Mombasa
Cold Solutions East Africa is expanding its network of Grade A temperature-controlled logistics facilities across the region, with new developments in Kigali (Rwanda), Namanve Industrial Park, Kampala (Uganda), Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), and Mombasa (Kenya). These facilities are designed to provide comprehensive cold chain services—including blast freezing, frozen and ambient storage, food processing, and integrated logistics—for domestic and international clients.
Following the successful LEED certification of the Cold Storage Solutions facility in Tatu City, UGC has been retained to guide the broader portfolio through the LEED certification process. UGC is working closely with the architectural, engineering, and refrigeration teams to optimise building performance and meet the rigorous standards of LEED, with a strong focus on energy efficiency, water conservation, low-carbon materials, and operational resilience.
