The Fairview Hotel, situated in Nairobi’s Upper Hill on Bishop Road, is a historically significant property dating back to 1931. Built in the Georgian colonial style, it features a distinct double-storey layout with butch stone walls and a traditional Mangalore tiled roof.As part of a broader initiative by the Westmont Hospitality Group to upgrade its portfolio of existing hotel assets, the Fairview Hotel is undergoing major renovations to modernise its operations while preserving its heritage character.
UGC has been engaged as sustainability consultants to advise on and guide the project through the EDGE certification process. Our work includes performance modelling, benchmarking, and recommendations for practical efficiency upgrades aligned with the EDGE standard.
