Karen Green Offices is a contemporary office development located in the serene Karen area of Nairobi. UGC was engaged at the earliest design stages to support the client and design team in delivering a high-performance, sustainable workplace. Through detailed building simulation modelling, UGC helped shape strategies for optimising natural lighting, minimising glare, reducing solar heat gain, and improving ventilation performance.
In addition, the team developed tailored approaches to energy efficiency, water conservation, and reduced embodied carbon in materials to align with EDGE certification goals. The project is now a leading example of sustainable office development in a low-density, green urban context.
