Mi Vida Homes is a residential development located along Thika Road in Nairobi, comprising 52 apartment units within the Garden City precinct. UGC was engaged later in the project cycle to support the development in achieving EDGE certification. Despite the late-stage engagement, UGC worked closely with the project team to assess the building’s performance and ensure the necessary strategies and measures were implemented to meet the EDGE standard. The project successfully achieved EDGE Final Certification in July 2022, marking an important milestone for sustainable housing in Nairobi’s growing urban context.
