The development represents a pioneering achievement in sustainable hospitality, becoming the first EDGE-certified hospitality project in Kenya and the wider region. Amrish Shah, Principal at UGC, served as the independent auditor for the project under the strict requirements of Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), verifying the performance metrics and compliance with the EDGE standard. The project integrates passive and active sustainability strategies to reduce environmental impact while maintaining high-quality guest services
