Rose Hotel, Nairobi

The Rose Hotel in Nairobi is a premium serviced apartment development operated by The Ascott Limited, a global leader in hospitality management. From the earliest concept design stages, UGC has worked closely with the architects, engineers, and operational team to embed sustainability into the project’s DNA, aligning the design with both LEED requirements and the operator’s rigorous environmental standards.

Using advanced building performance simulations, UGC supported the design team in optimising building form, envelope performance, and energy and water systems. The result is a carefully calibrated design that balances guest comfort with resource efficiency and long-term operational savings.

With LEED Silver certification targeted for 2025, the project exemplifies best practice in sustainable hospitality design—demonstrating how early advisory and simulation-driven decision-making can yield meaningful environmental and economic benefits.
