The Cube, Nairobi

The Cube is a contemporary commercial development located in Nairobi, designed with a strong focus on performance, usability, and efficiency. UGC was engaged from the very early design stage to support the client and design team in aligning the architectural vision with sustainability best practice. Through detailed building simulation modelling, UGC helped refine the building form and envelope to maximise natural lighting, reduce glare, optimise ventilation, and right-size the solar PV system. The project presented a valuable opportunity to bridge design ambition with practical sustainability outcomes. It successfully achieved EDGE Final Certification, demonstrating that high performance is possible without compromising architectural intent.
