Tribe Residences, Nairobi

The Tribe Residences is an upcoming mixed-use hospitality and residential development in Nairobi, comprising studio units, one-bedroom apartments, and penthouses. UGC was engaged from the early design stage to lead the project’s EDGE certification strategy, supporting the client and design team in achieving high performance across energy, water, and material efficiency.

Through building performance simulation and iterative collaboration with architects and engineers, UGC is working to ensure the development meets both local and international green building benchmarks. Preliminary EDGE certification is targeted for 2025, with final post-construction certification expected in 2027 upon project completion.

The Tribe Residences reflects the growing demand for environmentally responsible, operationally efficient living spaces in Nairobi’s hospitality and residential sector.
