World Resources Institute (WRI) Office, Nairobi

The World Resources Institute (WRI) Office in Nairobi is a commercial interiors fit-out that reflects WRI’s global sustainability ethos through practical, performance-driven design. UGC was engaged from the early design stage to support the architectural and engineering teams in aligning the project with EDGE certification standards.

UGC provided sustainability advisory and simulation modelling to optimise the fit-out for energy efficiency, water conservation and responsible material selection. The result is a modern, functional office space that balances user comfort with resource efficiency and environmental integrity.

The project achieved EDGE certification, reinforcing WRI’s leadership in climate-aligned development and its commitment to walking the talk on sustainability within its own workspaces.
